Curtis Brodner is The Jersey Vindicator’s housing and affordability reporter and a Report for America corps member. He covers housing policy across New Jersey, investigating the government decisions, institutions, and economic pressures that shape housing costs and determine where residents can afford to live. Before joining The Jersey Vindicator, Brodner was a criminal justice reporting fellow with Columbia Journalism Investigations, where he produced investigative reporting for New York Focus. His work there examined New York’s criminal justice system and the public institutions responsible for operating it.
